Never Say These 3 Words…

When you are talking with prospects that may be potential home business partners there are three key words that you want to avoid saying at all costs, or they will cost you!

As my friends David Schwind & Jim Yaghi would say, “Only use swayful words” whenever possible and you will dominate!

You want to stay away from these three words because they will steal whatever posture you may have had with that person. In sales, no matter what “type” of sales it is, your success and strengths rely on how well you are able to posture yourself as a leader to people. Most people are looking for someone who they feel is a person who is going to be able to lead them to get the things out of life they are looking for.

These three words will steal that posture right away from you as they send a telepathic message on a subconscious level to the people you are attempting to lead that you are unsure of yourself and what you have to offer them.

This is the last place that you want a mind wondering to when talking with prospects, especially if you want them to follow you into a world that is unknown and new to most that you will talk to. And due to this factor of the unknown most that will start a home business with you are seeking out a leader who has a strong posture and is confident in what they have to offer.

Here they are in no particular order.

Please – Don’t ever beg your prospect to do anything as this will make you look desperate. Never ask your prospects to “Please” do anything. If you do things right they should be pleased just with the chance to work with you.

Now this is a tough one because we are taught when we are young to be polite and say “please” to people when they are doing something of benefit to us. Unfortunately this will hinder your posture in this situation and you could risk them thinking he needs me to join his business so bad he is asking me to PLEASE check it out.

Thank You – Never thank a prospect for doing something that you asked them to do (whether it be calling you back, getting on a presentation call, etc.) You are the one with the prize they should be thanking you for your time and the opportunity to work with you.

Again this is a tough one because we are taught that this is the polite thing to say when someone does complete a request we have asked of them. But in the world of home business when you give someone a task to complete it is a way for you to test their true desire to be a part of what you are doing. NOT a reason for you to thank them for their time, you want them thanking you for yours.

Just – You are never JUST doing anything when talking with prospects. If you are “just” calling someone back or emailing them or whatever you “just” might be doing, you rob the thing you are doing of all importance it may have had. If you do this then why on earth would anyone else feel that it is important for them to care what you are doing is important for them to care about.

This is a small simple word that loves to rear its ugly head in moments when you are unsure of yourself and what you are saying or doing. It strikes in that moment when you need to be your most confident self, it strikes when that twinge of fear shows up and for some reason we think that by saying I am “just” calling to _________….then the prospect won’t know that we care about what they think one way or the other.

Now that you are aware of these three “deadly” words that you NEVER, NEVER want to say when talking with prospects, they should be in your conscious stream. From here on out it is up to you to keep them there so that you can avoid using them at all costs.

Be comfortable with asking people for money

You have to believe what ever you are selling is worth what you are selling it for

Making money online…

1) Get leads

2) Convert as many of those leads as possible into sales

3) Deliver the product and over deliver the promise

4) Sell the same people who have boughtfrom you and sell them more stuff

5) Selling things that pay big commisions that will always be easier because you can make more money with less sales so therefore you need less leads

The navigation of your offer needs a clear path that is easy to follow and make sure you are only sending them to one place at a time

The presentation of different decisions paralizes peoples ability to choose

You have to tell people exactly what to do with a strong clear call to action

Don’t make the mistake of thinking things in your business are obvious

Don’t only tell people what to do but also tell them what to expect and a tease of what they are going to get

Where is the good traffic?

Consistent
Scalable
Automatable

What you care about

Price
Volume
Effort

All traffic is free if you can convert it (seriously it is thinking like this that will change everything for you ~ Jason)

You can always make more money but you can never get your time back that is why paid traffic will always be king

Sell to the right people

All traffic is good (depending on your goals)

How to get more traffic…

Go deep and repeat what works till you max it out

Go broad by creating groupings and then target them

To Do List (to go deep)

1) Send traffic to something
2) Log all spending including your time
3) Generate your first sale
4) Make it profitable for next time

Sell multiple things for different price points both big and small

A trap I see so many people getting stuck in these days is that of sitting on the sidelines in the stands of life, business etc. and not actually getting out on the playing field and taking action with the knowledge they have.

There are a countless number of people who attend every training, seminar, webinar, etc and have all this knowledge about creating an online lead system and putting it to work for them, yet for some reason they never do it!

I recently helped to organize a killer event here in San Diego last month with my friends and marketing prodigies Ryan Dunn & Steve Schuitt of MLM Biz Builder, that turned out great! Of course I also attended the event because we had speakers in addition to Jeffery such as Jonathan Budd and even David Schwind & Jim Yagi!

Most important factor when u communicate is results

Average attention span of people is 28-31 seconds for impulse buyers it is 5-15

Ask a question of no more than 15 words

Good copy statements are no more than 15 words

Sales are just solving someones problem and when they see the value in this they do whatever it takes to buy what you have because it solves their problem

Mindset is just an attitude

If people respond to a commitment with a yeah sure you ask them…. Is that a yes

Processing is just your left brain taking you out of creativity

Say peoples name every other question you ask them to create a relaxed connectivity

Spoken words…  tone…

Sales equals a series of questions that move someone to a result

Close by asking not talking

As an entrepreneur you have to hit what.you can’t see

Master the phrase…  i am enough

You don’t worry about the things you can’t control

Being in the now is letting go

Pressure is an illusion

There is no separation between who you are and what you do

Having a routine will help you be productive from a relaxed state

When you feel yourself procrastinating stop and take a deep breathe. This changes the cell strutcture and stops the memory or addiction to the feeling of procrastination

Procratination is an emotional addiction

You have to be inspired in order to break out of your procrastination

Being a millionaire will give you…

Creativity…  reward… habits and skills

When you say uuhhh before you speak you are checking out and you will never be able to close a sale

Take keywords from someones answer in order to ask the next question using that keyword

Main excuses for not getting started… (they tell you this because they think it is what you want to hear)

Money… time… think… third party… research

Most of your sales will come from overcomig objections

Skeptics are not opportunists

Outhouse to penthouse

Exercises for breaking the processing cycle = Buy the Book “Power of Now”… get a cd or dvd that will put me in alpha state… sit and relax and take deep breathes, get hypnotized

You must achieve clarity

When you start to expect it it increases the law of your probabilty
